Overview
Our customer approached us with an exciting idea to design and craft their dream kitchen as part of a stunning new extension to their Cotswold home. They wanted to create a real family space, a place where they could spend time together, the kids could be sat doing their homework whilst mum would be cooking. Their vision was a bright and spacious kitchen with a large oak Island unit, a bar cupboard and coffee area for entertaining. Lighting was another key factor in the project, they wanted different lighting settings to create the right atmosphere at any time night or day.
Results
We loved working on this beautiful stone built home, we created a light and spacious kitchen featuring our Foxton range cabinets with beaded face frame, hand painted in Joa’s white by Farrow & Ball. The kitchen offers plenty of storage in a mixture of cupboards and drawers including a special knife drawer and hidden spice drawer. The customer was delighted with the stylish bar cupboard, wine cooler and custom designed coffee area. The large, stained oak island made a statement with the benefit of creating a place for the family to enjoy spending time together. Ceiling spotlights and uplighters were carefully chosen to enhance the overall feel and mood of the kitchen, achieving the warm and inviting atmosphere the client envisioned.
