Overview
We love the challenge of designing a Utility / Boot room, so when our client in Stratford Upon Avon approached us with this project we were over the moon. The client required tall cupboards that could tuck away a washing machine and dryer to keep the space clutter free. The design brief required smart storage for coats, boots and shoes and a sink with shelving above for everyday essentials. The goal was to create a space that combined functionality with a strong visual design.
Results
The tall shaker style cabinets in Studio Green by Farrow & Ball, finished with Armac Martin brass grilles and fittings, create a bold yet practical solution, perfect for hiding the washing machine and dryer. A Shaws Bowland sink with ribbed front is paired with a Perrin & Rowe aged brass mixer tap, set above spacious cabinets that includes ample storage.
A thoughtful feature is the built in boot bench with coat hanging, offering a practical spot to sit while getting ready to head out.
The room was completed with a striking black and white chequered tiled floor, adding a sense of character and timeless elegance.
