A classic design has been created, perfect for country living in this characterful, period cottage. The use of dark paint colours on the kitchen cabinets dramatizes the other architectural features in the room as well as the decorative items on the display shelving. The classic, shaker style door from our Ashton range mixed with the contrasting pale, quartz worktop and natural timber floor, creates a classic bespoke built, country kitchen.
This kitchen makes a lasting impression when you first enter the room. The panelling on the back wall with shelving and Oak dowels create the perfect feature wall for displaying, decorative items as well as providing homes for mugs and crockery. The full height units on the back wall maximise the storage space available providing a housing for an integrated fridge/freezer, larder cupboard and oven.
The island houses the Faber hob with a down draft extractor to avoid an extractor having to be on display and taking the eye off of the feature wall. An undermount sink sits under the window looking out on to the surrounding fields with a hot tap meaning a kettle on the worktop can be avoided. The island creates the perfect divide between the cooking area and the dining area.
This design has embodied the clients vision of a modern but classic country kitchen which is perfect for all aspects of living.
