Whole Home Interiors
A complete approach to bespoke interiors, where every detail is designed, crafted and considered as one.
Our Whole Home Interiors service is where we believe we can add the most value, particularly on larger projects.
When we design a kitchen, we’re never simply fitting cabinetry into a room. We consider the space as a whole, how you’ll move through it, how it will be used every day, what needs to be close at hand and where everything naturally belongs. It’s this thoughtful approach that allows us to create spaces that don’t just look beautiful but work beautifully too.
Whole Home Interiors takes that same thinking and zooms out even further. Rather than considering each room in isolation, we look at how your home works as a whole, creating a natural flow from one space to the next, with considered design, materials and details connecting each room.
From kitchens and pantries to boot rooms, studies, bars, bedrooms and dressing rooms, bathrooms, libraries and wine storage, we can design multiple spaces together as one considered project. This gives us the opportunity to create greater continuity throughout your home, simplify the design and decision-making process, and make the most of your overall investment.
The result is a home that feels cohesive, considered and completely individual to the way you live.
Every piece of Monkeywood furniture is handmade from start to finish in our Oxfordshire workshop. We make our own carcasses, allowing us complete freedom over dimensions and configuration, while our hardwood frames and doors are milled and crafted in-house. Once each component has been cut, shaped and prepared, it moves through our dedicated finishing rooms to be sprayed or hand-painted before being carefully assembled and checked in the workshop.
Our own team then delivers and fits your furniture in your home. By keeping the entire process under one roof from initial design and making through to finishing and installation, we can maintain our standards at every stage and give you one seamless, straightforward service from first ideas to final fit.
Our bespoke cabinetry extends far beyond kitchens. We design and make beautifully considered furniture for boot rooms, pantries, bedrooms, dressing rooms, bathrooms, studies, bars, wine storage and much more. If you have a space in mind, we’d love to discuss what’s possible.
Absolutely. We particularly enjoy working on larger projects where we can create a cohesive feel throughout the home. From kitchens and boot rooms to bedrooms and bathrooms, we can ensure each space has its own character while maintaining a consistent design and quality of craftsmanship.
Definitely. One of the greatest advantages of bespoke cabinetry is the ability to make the most of every inch. Whether it’s an awkward alcove, sloping ceiling or an unusual layout, we can design something beautiful and practical that fits your space perfectly.
Yes. We’re happy to collaborate with architects, interior designers, builders and other professionals to ensure our cabinetry works seamlessly within the wider project. We can get involved from the early planning stages or work from an existing design.
