Kitchen must haves for Christmas

As December has arrived, we can officially start talking about Christmas and getting your kitchen all festive. Handcrafted bespoke cabinetry whether traditional or contemporary really does lend itself to pretty decorations.

Often your kitchen is the heart of the home and around this time of year it’s the most heavily trafficked room in the house. Decorating your kitchen doesn’t need to be extravagant, just a few seasonal touches can transform the kitchen into a festive living space.

Wreaths, sprigs and garlands help to bring the outdoors indoors. Garlands are beautiful, traditional and timeless, in our opinion they are the only way to decorate a mantle. Christmassy sprigs are a perfect way to add greenery to open shelving. Whether your bespoke kitchen is traditional or contemporary, home-made wreaths are a natural and earthy addition to the festive display. They can be completely bespoke and personalized to match your interiors.

Making Christmas day easier ….

Quooker Taps

Boiling taps are practical and efficient. Speeding up tea making and veg prep, you’ll wonder how you ever coped without one. Quooker taps come in several different designs and finishes to suit any style of kitchen.

Double integrated Ovens

Top of our list this Christmas is Fisher & Paykel who boast their ovens can hold 25KG of weight on the streamlined pull-out wracks – just imagine the size of that turkey!! If you have the space for two ovens then it’s a no brainer, stopping you from having to swap around trays midway through cooking.

Fridge drawers

Allowing for variable temperature setting a fridge drawer allows you to change between 5 different food modes, Fridge, freezer, pantry, chill and wine. These are perfect for extra food storage or even overflow from the wine fridge over the festive period.

Wine Fridge.

Need we say anymore? Island units can often offer the perfect location in a kitchen for a wine fridge to be housed. This makes it easy for guests to grab and go when entertaining especially during the busy festive period when the kitchen is a hive of activity.

Integrated Bins

We would always advise customers to opt for integrated bins when designing their kitchen. They are discreet and help to avoid clutter.

We have examples of all the above in our Oxfordshire showroom. If you are thinking about a new kitchen in 2024 then why not book an appointment with us – give us a call on 01295 533413 or contact us
