We offer the same design service that we offer with our kitchens to help bring ideas to life. There isn’t a room that we can’t work with whether it’s from boot rooms to bars or gun cabinets to libraries,
Every piece of furniture is handmade in our workshop from start to finish. We build all of our own carcasses so that they can be totally bespoke in size, we have all the machinery needed for milling the hardwood used to make frames and doors. When the components are all cut, shaped and drilled they go into our finishing rooms to be sprayed and hand painted, then it’s off to the build up area where your furniture is assembled.
We deliver and fit our own furniture as part of the service. This keeps everything simple and makes for a stress free process start to finish when you commission a Monkeywood piece of fitted furniture.
Dressing rooms
The dressing room is a very personal space. We know that each item need’s its own storage space, whether it’s that special pair of boots or a somewhere suitable for storing that sentimental jewellery. We work closely with you to make sure that you have all of the storage that you need. Our dressing rooms can also be designed in any style to suit your space. We can do shaker (panelled) doors, contemporary (flat) doors or even glass and mirrored doors. Some walk-in dressing rooms don’t even have doors. The choice is totally yours.

Studies
Working from home seems to be becoming more and more popular and studies have been in high demand. Whilst a study should provide a practical, functional area to work, that doesn’t mean you have to compromise on style. Having a fitted study can gain you storage as well as a uniform and tidy space for working whilst hiding unwanted clutter and files.
Boot rooms
Whether it is somewhere to dry off the dogs or storage for those bulky items, we can create boot rooms that suit all your requirements. We work with you every step of the way to understand how you work as a family and what functionalities your room need’s. A well-designed boot room not only provides ample storage but also keeps the design aesthetic flowing through form the rest of the house. Incorporating under seat storage uses other wise wasted space and can be used for shoes or even your outdoor cushions in those winter months. Incorporating coat pegs whether it’s behind doors or open gives you plenty of space for hanging items whether it coats, dog leads or umbrellas, easy to hand as you leave the house. A Boot room is quite often the first room anybody walks into so why not make it a statement.
Bars
The home bar is an aspiring piece of furniture, providing the perfect place to entertain guests. Home bars can be incorporated into the kitchen space or we can create a completely separate piece of furniture which gives the room its own purpose. As with all of our furniture, we carefully design our home bars to be a focal point in the room or to be sympathetic towards the rest of the building.

Understair Storage
Bespoke understair Storage can completely transform an often-empty space. Many people struggle to maximize this wedge-shaped void. A clever mixture of open and closed cabinets allows for some items to be stored away whilst others can be out on display. Beautiful oak wine racks compliment the light colour of the cabinets
