Overview

Another example of how a Monkeywood Bespoke kitchens can Transform rooms. Previously this was a dated space that needed an injection of life, to both the kitchen and utility room. Our talented designers and cabinet makers worked their magic, and we think the results are stunning.

A large island unit takes centre stage as you enter the room. Designed to increase both storage and work surface areas. An inlet for the stools has been included, making extra space for seating and helping this to become a real social hub. Cross panels make for an interesting extra feature. A perfectly placed Belfast sink looks out through striking stone framed windows to the garden. A practical bench seat has been incorporated under a second window which once again creates more seating and useful storage. The large Crittall windows allow light to stream into the room which emphasises the beautiful dark colour of the cabinets against the light worktops. Livid by Little green paint was chosen by our customers.

In an adjacent room lies the bespoke utility room. A well-designed utility should help to make daily tasks like laundry less of a hassle. Tall triple cupboards have been fitted to allow for extra storage of household items such as hoovers and other cleaning products. Tongue and groove has been used on the back wall with a long solid oak shelf as a feature point. Carrying on the kitchen colours help to tie this space in with the rest of the project.
